====== Customer Filter ======

The Customer Filter allows you to [[general:pattern_matching|filter]] the [[master:customer_tree|Customer Tree]] to selectively display only [[object:customer|Customer-ID's]] that match the [[general:pattern_matching|filter criteria]].

===== Customer Filter String =====

To filter [[master:customer_tree|Customer Tree]] insert a [[:general:pattern_matching|filter string]] in the ''Customer Filter'' field.

Click on the [[master:customer_tree|Customer Tree]] and press F5 on your keyboard to update display.

If no [[object:customer|Customers]] are displayed this means that there are no [[object:customer|Customer-ID's]] that match the [[:general:pattern_matching|filter string]].

To return to a full [[master:customer_tree|Customer Tree]] display, delete the filter string in the ''Customer Filter'' field, click on the [[master:customer_tree|Customer Tree]] and press F5 on your keyboard.

Customers can also be searched by Customer Description rather than [[object:customer|Customer-ID]] by using the **[[master:find_customer|Find Customer]]** function.
