====== Volume Identity ======

The ''Identity'' tab of the [[object:volume|Volumes]] properties displays the [[object:volume|Volume's]] unique identification Attributes including [[object:customer|Customer-ID]], [[object:media|Media-ID]] and [[object:volume|Volume-ID]] as well as other data specific to the volume's identity.

The **Volume Attributes** panel displays:
  * [[object:customer|Customer-ID]] and [[object:customer|Description]].
  * [[object:media|Media-ID]] and [[object:media|Description]].
  * [[object:volume|Volume-ID]].

The [[object:volume|Volume-ID]] is set on creation of the [[object:volume|Volume]] and is then, in normal operation, a non editable field as are the [[object:customer|Customer-ID]] and [[object:media|Media-ID]] fields. 

The center panel shows a barcode image of the [[object:volume|Volume-ID]].

Expanding the lower section ''Update Statistics'' displays information of when, where and who created the [[object:volume|Volume]].  These values are captured automatically on creation of the [[object:volume|Volume]] and are non editable fields.
