The [[options:media|Media Option]] ''Remove Barcode Suffix'' removes the scanned Barcode's matching suffix, up to a maximum of three characters.

[[general:pattern_matching|String pattern]], up to 3 characters long, to match against and remove from the scanned Barcodes.

====== Examples ======

With a [[general:pattern_matching|String pattern]] of ''L6'' will remove the suffix from Barcode 100234L6, to scan as 100234.  

With a [[general:pattern_matching|String pattern]] of ''L*'' will remove the suffix from Barcode 100234L4, 100234L6, or any Barcode ending in L? (where ? is a wild card to match one character)
