======  Retain Moving Slot ======

By default, the [[cli:tmss10slotallocation|Slotting Command Line Program]] will free up a Slot as soon as a [[object:volume|Volume]] is put in a [[concepts:move_status|Move Status]] to another [[object:repository|Repository]].

Setting the ''Retain Moving Slot'' Option for a Repository will ensure that the [[concepts:slot|Slot]] is not released until the Volume is [[concepts:confirmed|Confirmed]] into the new Repository.

''Retain Moving Slot'' option is displayed after the option ''Enable Slotting'' to ''True''.

This option can also be set using the [[cli:tmss10batchloader|Batch Loader]] key ''option_noreslot''.
