====== Changing the default port ======

By default, the TapeTrack Framework Server listens for incoming connections on TCP/IP port 5000.

This can be changed by adding a ''-P argument'' to the Service startup arguments.

===== Windows =====

To change the default port on Windows you can use the TapeTrack Server Helper Application.

<note important>When using the Helper Application you must save the settings and restart the Service before the port change takes effect.</note>

===== Linux =====

To change the default port on Linux you must edit the daemon initiation script.
