====== Cannot update slot to zero ======

If a [[object:volume|Volume]] is moving to a [[object:repository|Repository]] that has [[master:slotting|Slotting]] enabled, before the [[object:volume|Volume]] can be [[concepts:confirming|Confirmed]], the [[object:volume|Volume]] must have a Slot assigned.

If the [[master:slotting|Slot]] is zero at the time the [[object:volume|Volume]] is being confirmed, the following message will be displayed:

<note tip>This error message may occur if a product like TapeTrack Checkpoint is working with a cache of [[object:volume|Volume]] information that was loaded before [[concepts:slot_allocation|Slot Allocation]] was run.</note>
