====== Removing Volumes, History And Attributes ======

Removing all [[object:volume|Volumes]] (Inventory), while leaving [[object:customer|Customers]], [[object:media|Media Types]] and [[object:repository|Repository]] structure intact.

===== Windows Instructions =====

To make alterations to the database files, [[server:start_stop|Stop the Server]].

<note important>Make a backup of the ''TapeTrack\TapeTrack Framework Server\var'' directory and contents before making any alterations.</note>

Navigate to the TapeTrack Database installation directory (default location = C:\Program Files\TapeTrack\TapeTrack Framework Server\var\db ).

<note warning>Deleting these files will remove ALL Volumes and their related data from the Database.</note>

Delete files:

  * ''TMSS10.attributes''
  * ''TMSS10.attribute-history''
  * ''TMSS10.history'' 
  * ''TMSS10.history-archive''
  * ''TMSS10.volume''
  * All files with ''TMSS10.volume'' prefix
