====== Technote Reports - Move List Examples ======
There are several ways to export the current moving [[object:volume|Volumes]] from TapeTrack using:

* [[#lite-move-list-reports|Lite]]
* [[#command-line-move-list-reports|Command Line programs]]
Which method suits your requirement depends on the information required in the report, as well as frequency the reports are required.
TapeMaster and Lite allows dynamic creation of move list reports that have variable output or on demand requirements.
Inventory reports that are required on a regular basis can be created using [[cli:TMSS10MoveList|TMSS10MoveList ]] that can then be saved to file, emailed and/or [[cli:tmss10uploadfile|uploaded to the TapeTrack Server]] allowing clients to download ([[master:upload_files#right-click-functions|TapeMaster]], Lite or [[cli:tmss10downloadfile|TMSS10DownloadFile]]) without the need to create the reports themselves.

To export report from the TapeMaster Inventory window, filter the [[object:volume|Volumes]] by placing a **M** in the Flag filter field, select the required [[object:volume|Volumes]] from the displayed list, press Ctrl+E, or right-click and select Export. Select the required report format from the popup window and click OK.

To export reports from the Volume Global View, from the main menu select ''Tools'' -> ''Volume Global View''. From the popup, if required, enter any filters (including extended Attribute) to narrow down the displayed results and click ''OK''.
Place a **M** in the Flag filter field to narrow results to moving [[object:volume|Volumes]].
Select the required [[object:volume|Volumes]] and press Ctrl+E, or right-click and select ''Export''. Select the required report format (Text, HTML, PDF (Portrait or Landscape) or CSV) from the popup window and click OK.

===== Command Line Inventory Reports =====
[[cli:TMSS10MoveList|TMSS10MoveList ]] creates a report listing [[object:volume|Volumes]] that are currently moving into or out of displayed [[object:repository|Repositories]] and a total of moving [[object:volume|Volumes]] for each [[object:repository|Repository]].
Reports can be output in the file formats text, HTML, PDF (Portrait or Landscape) and CSV.
