The Media Option Remove Barcode Suffix removes the scanned Barcode's matching suffix, up to a maximum of three characters.

String pattern, up to 3 characters long, to match against and remove from the scanned Barcodes.

With a String pattern of L6 will remove the suffix from Barcode 100234L6, to scan as 100234.

With a String pattern of L* will remove the suffix from Barcode 100234L4, 100234L6, or any Barcode ending in L? (where ? is a wild card to match one character)
