-As the barcode rules are processed in order from top to bottom of the list it is important to ensure any new rules are inserted into the list at the appropriate point to assesed against the scanned barcode in the correct order.
-For example a new rule for barcode format ????.???.CE???? would need to be before the barcode rule ????.???.?????? as a barcode US04.LTO.CE1234 would match either rule so the parsing would stop at the first matching rule encountered.
