Changing the default port

By default, the TapeTrack Framework Server listens for incoming connections on TCP/IP port 5000.

This can be changed by adding a -P argument to the Service startup arguments.

Windows

To change the default port on Windows you can use the TapeTrack Server Helper Application.

When using the Helper Application you must save the settings and restart the Service before the port change takes effect.
