Once you have arranged access to an FTP Inventory file from Iron Mountain, TapeTrack SecureSync can be set up to automatically download and reconcile that file against your TapeTrack Database.

A sample script is included in your SecureSync installation, located at TapeTrack\TapeTrack SecureSync\scripts\Reconcile.bat, that aids in the setup required.

Running the SecureSync Reconcile script will call three programs

• TMSS10IRM_FTP: Logs onto the Iron Mountain FTP server and download a daily inventory which will be directed from stdout to an Inventory text file for the TMSS10IRM_Reconcile processing.
• TMSS10IRM_Reconcile will read the IRM Inventory text file on the stdin and using a CustomerMap file, will output a scanfile with the inventory currently at Iron Mountain.
• TMSS10Reconcile will take the scanfile produced by TMSS10IRM_Reconcile and perform a reconciliation against the Volumes in TapeTrack.
