Linux File Structure

Framework Server

The TapeTrack Framework Server RPM will install files to the following locations:

/var/tapetrack TapeTrack database files
/usr/bin TapeTrack Command Line binaries
/usr/sbin TapeTrack daemon binary
/etc/tapetrack TapeTrack config files

Once the install is complete, only the /var/tapetrack directory should be expected to grow.

When configuring a new Linux install, the default partition layout should suffice.

Server Utilities

The TapeTrack Framework Server Utilities RPM will install files to the following directories:

/usr/bin TapeTrack Command Line binaries
/usr/lib/tapetrack/lib32 TapeTrack shared libraries
