Technote Reports - Zones
There are several ways to export the current status of Inventory from TapeTrack using:
Which method suits your requirement depends on the information required in the report, as well as frequency the reports are required.
TapeMaster allows dynamic creation of Zone reports that have on demand requirements.
Zone reports that are required on a regular basis can be created using TMSS10ZoneList that can then be saved to file, emailed and/or uploaded to the TapeTrack Server.
Desktop Programs Inventory Reports
TapeMaster allows you to export Zone information to reports from the Zone Administration window, accessible from the Main Menu, Administration > Zone Administration.
The report from the Zones tab includes Zone-ID, Zone Name, Zone Description and Slots per level. To export from the Zones tab, select the required Zones using Ctrl+Click, and then press Ctrl+E to open the export to file popup. Select the file format to export to and follow the prompts to save to file.
The report from the Zone Usage tab includes Zone-ID, Zone Name, Zone Description, Customer-ID, Media-ID, Repository-ID, Start, End, Total Slots, Notes, Used, Free and % Free. To export from the Zone Usage tab, select the required Zones using Ctrl+Click, and then press Ctrl+E to open the export to file popup. Select the file format to export to and follow the prompts to save to file.
