Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 - 2022 Redistributable Runtime
While TapeTrack automatically installs the Visual C++ 2019 Redistributable Runtime during normal installation, sometimes security software may block the installation without providing any notifications to the user.
If you are presented with an error referencing a missing .dll file while trying to start TapeTrack software, manually installing the Visual C++ Redistributable 2015 - 2022 Runtime package will solve this error.
Download Runtime
The latest supported version of Visual C++ Redistributable 2019 Runtime can be downloaded from Microsoft for Windows x86, x64 and ARM64.
Install Runtime
Run the downloaded executable.
Read license terms and conditions, check Agree to enable the Install button.
Click Install button to continue.
The Runtime will then install on your computer.
At the end of installation when prompted, click restart your computer to complete the process.
