TMSS10PasswordResetDB

Synopsis

TMSS10PasswordReset [-i ] [-h database directory] [-p new password] [-u user for reset]

Description

Allows a user with administrative rights to reset a users password and restore user access when access has been revoked due to multiple consecutive failed login attempts.

Options

  • -h Database home directory.
  • -i interactive mode true.
  • -p New password value.
  • -u User to reset.

Notes

TMSS10PasswordResetDB can be invoked through the script ResetPassword.bat which will automatically run TMSS10PaswordResetDB in interactive mode and set the database home directory and working directory via the variables %TMSS10SCRIPTS% and %TMSS10DB% (set at install). This is the recommended method to invoke resetting passwords.

ResetPassword.bat can be found in the TapeTrack install directory under TapeTrack\TapeTrack Framework Server\scripts

  1. zero Program has ended successfully.
