Objects such as Customers, Media types and Volumes can be hidden from view when required.
Customers can be hidden, or removed from view, in TapeTrack TapeMaster, Lite and from Command Line programs , cleaning up the display without needing to delete Customers and their associated data.
Reasons for hiding Customers can include inactive Customers for a Vaulting business that you can remove from the display without deleting to retain historical information.

Reasons for hiding Media Types can include retired legacy media types that are no longer used for backups.

Reasons for hiding Volumes range from being moved permanently out of rotation, locked from movement for legal reasons or any other reason that operators do not need to see them and would prefer a cleaner display in TapeTrack TapeMaster or Command Line reports.
