Command Line Utilities

The TapeTrack Command Line Utilities provide a large range or automation and reporting functionality and have been ported to the following platforms:

While most utilities are available for Linux and Windows, other platforms only support a subset of the full command suite.

TMSS10Catalog_Networker	Description
TMSS10Confirm	Confirms selected tapes that are in a move status.
TMSS10Custom_BillByAge	Description
TMSS10ExpireByDate	Adds a 'Move Pending flag' to Volumes which have a 'Next Move Date' within the specified range.
TMSS10ExpireDRStrategies	Deletes all expired Disaster Recovery Strategies.
TMSS10ExpireFiles	Deletes all expired files that have been uploaded to the TapeTrack Server.
TMSS10ExportFile	Extracts TapeTrack data so that it can be reloaded to another TapeTrack Server.
TMSS10LibraryManager	Synchronizes one TapeTrack Server with another.
TMSS10MovePending	Move volumes flagged as expired to the next location.
TMSS10Reconcile	Performs a batch Reconciliation on a Repository.
TMSS10Resolve	Resolves environmental variables in an input file.

TMSS10ListHistory	Produces a list of volume history records.
TMSS10ListMoveHistory	Produces a list of the movement history of each volume.
